all about me

Having grown up in Australia with a English mother and European father I experienced a wonderful mix of cultures from the more traditional formality of my mum, to my energetic, explorative father, all mixed in with the easy, can-do nature of Australians. We were very fortunate to travel to Europe often, exploring many of the countries and cultures, both the historical and modern aspects. Following my degree in Interior Design from the University of Technology, Sydney, I worked in architecture for a few years before I moved here with friends for the typical Australian/London experience but found I loved it and so stayed. Marrying an Englishman and having now "English" children (two) has helped that become permanent.

Ability to produce design pitches within time scales and then present in a friendly, clear and professional manner to either the decision makers or a whole committee.
Happy to work with end user of landlords to maximise sqm potential.
Well versed in hybrid working for workspaces, both in technology & furniture/fittings.
Adaptable Interior stylist, who can work to any budget.
Awareness of budgets! And working with project managers and consultants to ensure profit.
Ability to deal with change and clients minds!
Good communicator between client, contractors, landlords, planning, marketing departments and the slightly tricky security bloke.
Organised, production of good detailed drawing packs and schedules which co-ordinate with other consultants.
At ease on site with various contractors, with a willingness to learn different ways of doing things and adapting designs to suit if required.
Representing the skills and brand of the Design and Build company and add value where possible.
Ensuring the client feels they have been understood, informed, educated and kept abreast of process to finally being thrilled with the end result.
